Now, summer missionaries are college students from across the India. who give up their summer break to do ministry of all kinds. They do religious canvassing to help with new church starts. And many of them end up as youth ministers for the summer, working with small churches who can’t afford this staff position on a full time basis all year long. ​​ Of Seed And Soil – The Parable of The Sower Date  November 17, 2013 Scripture Reference  Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23 from the series  Parables for Winter'2013 Introduction You may remember my mentioning a couple of weeks ago the annual trips our family made when I was a child to visit my Uncle in Bengaluru with a mile-long gravel driveway. Well, when I was a Second Year in University my Uncle passed away after a long illness. For some reason I couldn't attend his funeral but a few months later I left campus and drove to Bangalore do some work on my uncle's  grave. The graveyard where my  uncle was buried was full of red  clay… and grass wouldn't grow there very well so, if you wanted your loved one’s final resting place to look good you had to do a lot of careful gardening.
