THE KING IS COMING Date 01 April 2012 Scripture Zechariah 9:9,  Luke 19:28-40,  Rev. 19:11-16 from the series  Palm Sunday Intro duction Today is Palm Sunday .  This is the day when Christian people around the world commemorate the triumphal entry of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ into Jerusalem.  It was on that remarkable day that Jesus was both praised by His disciples and rejected by the very people He had come to save.  For it was on that day that Jesus presented Himself to Israel as their promised Messiah and King, and it was on that day that they refused to believe on Him.  In less than a week the very people who should have welcomed this King saw to it that He was crucified. God’s Hedge Around Your Marriage Date: March 25, 2012 Scripture: Matthew 5:27-30 from the series The Sermon on the Mount Introduction In his wonderful book, The Tender Commandments , Ron Mehl cites a newspaper story out of San Diego that reported the following: "An 18-year-old bull rider who was kicked and trampled by a 2300-pound Brahma Bull during a September 18th rodeo has died from his injuries, hospital officials said. Paul Coronado died Tuesday at Sharp Memorial Hospital. He had been unconscious and in critical condition since being trampled during the Lakeside Rodeo. Coronado had been competing professionally in rodeos for only a few months since graduating from El Capitan High School in June.
